THE EERIE REALITY

Nature, at its best, is a very tolerant being; able to forgive and forget. So much is happening every second. Changes that were never expected, and even if expected, are larger than imagined. Not everything needs to be listed down every time we think about it. But it becomes essential to make people realize what they have forgotten. Some even act as this all was meant to be, like its destiny if you may! But nature, it remains calm as humans destroy it. Its children are being hurt but it sits with utter patience waiting for the best time to give a blow. And every time this blows in our faces, it forms a layer of pain that all have to endure.
No one can predict what would happen if they anger their creator, in spite of it being so predictable! We find millions die in disasters, many losing their loved ones while their lives are spared to endure. All this is the wrath of nature. But every now and then when there is no other way to deal with the situation, it decides to take a step away from us. With us invading every inch of space provided to the flora and fauna on this Earth, sometimes we take away the last drop of hope for some to survive. Humans perish the two basic needs of them to live, i.e., food and shelter. Without even realizing, humans snatch resources from others which never even belonged to them. Some do this intentionally, while some make it their hopeless mistake.
With accelerating years, thousands of organisms on this Earth are lost. We prefer to think they all lost to science to calm our guilt. But in reality, we are the ones in a loss. Every single organism gone extinct today is remembered due to the late realization of their importance. Every scientist thinks how it would have turned out if all those extinct were among us. Some even have the answer. And these few are trying to get them back by various methods like Genetic Engineering and retrieving their gametes to fertilize and bear new individuals. Several mountains are dug, their snow is melted, only in an attempt to retrieve every drop of their DNA left by them on this land. Many have claimed of succeeding in getting back some species. They have worked long enough to advance science and technology to this level. But wouldn’t it have been easier if we all never crossed our bottom lines in the first place!
Even if we do get some of those, who are extinct, back, without us realizing that ‘Change starts within ourselves’, we cannot stop ourselves from destroying our own hard work. We tend to observe nature’s way of treating the weaklings, eliminating the one at the lowest, giving it a reason of science and evolution. It gives us a way to escape the fact that the hurricane of destruction started from our revival as ‘the man’. We continue living our ways and trying to go against nature’s will, ignoring the fact that we will be held guilty in every jury on this universe.
AN INTROSPECT
We are thought to be the most advanced beings on Earth after the great evolution. We tend to use our powers to destroy others for the sake of our comfort. The responsibility we possess is not only remaining unfulfilled by our increasing guilt but also, we envelope the consequences in the name of ‘nature’s ways’. Those who understand that nature’s ways are not as complex as we try to decipher, they are the one’s standing up for what we are doing wrong in the first place. We hear planting trees is beneficial and will bring back nature a bit, but it is indeed true that we cut double than we sow. With our increasing greed and desires, we are continuously finding new resources to exploit every day. We sold our biodiversity and fragmented the habitats for the sake of a few pennies which won’t even keep us immortal. All beings die at some point of time. But we are creating a havoc for our future generations to bear. We all know the fact and it makes us more fearless to destroy the things around us as one day we won’t be here to bear the losses. This is why we are enjoying our time, snatching the joy of sharing the planet with so diverse creatures around us in the sac of nature. Our selfishness will drown our youth as well as their offspring as it has become near to impossible to return back to square one. Educating and creating awareness is merely left to be a concept today. In our day to day lives, we are now bound to unwillingly use these extreme exploitive majors just to survive on the planet.
It would be the ‘DOOM’S DAY’ when it all slaps us on our faces and we are left behind to be able to do nothing. It is the worst when you want to do something and you are so unable that you suffer in silence seeing the consequences of your actions unfold in a mighty sinister way.
